394 Jessica Suver - CrossFit Coach, Work-out Programmer, Corporate Wellness Coach and Former Games Competitor
Jessica is one of my oldest friends in the CrossFit world. I met her the first day I walked into a CrossFit gym. She is a former collegiate rower and has gone on to compete as a member of CrossFit Paradiso's team multiple times at the Regionals and even once at the Games. She programs one of the top CrossFit gyms in the country and is also doing some really cool stuff with a start-up tech company to keep the employees healthy and happy. Mike has owned and operated CrossFit Malibu since he opened it in 2009. He is a ’92 graduate of the Pepperdine University sports medicine program, where he also ran cross country and played club soccer. A credentialed teacher with experience teaching in the classroom and on the playing field, he also has masters degrees in outdoor education and public health. Mike learned the Olympic lifts from a colleague when working at Pepperdine while he was the coordinator and an instructor in the physical education department from 2001-2005. The joys of mixing heavy lifting with bodyweight movements and other skills via CrossFit began in 2008. He eats ice cream and loves spending time with his wife and twins. |
